Delegating Work
A boss who delegates work to one’s employees will gain a lot of benefits. But there are several reasons that could discourage one from delegating work. For example, the boss might be afraid that his employees will make big mistakes, or he might think that he can do the work better, or he might be afraid that his employees will become better than him. However, the true measure of a good boss is one who knows how to delegate work to his employees. By doing so, he is showing that he trusts his employees, and takes work delegating as an opportunity for them to improve and grow.

Links are so important because they give meaning to all the content on the Internet. The Internet is an enormous space of content. The content would be useless if we do not have a good way of structuring it and showing the relationship between different pieces of content. This is where links come in.

The Caveman Principle
Let me tell you about a concept I have when I try to analyze human group behavior as well as individual behavior. I call it the Caveman Principle.

For a long time we have been taught to think in a specific way, and that is the rational way of thinking. Rational is a word that originated from the Latin rationalis. This way of thinking was, somehow, created mostly by Europeans, Rene Descartes being the most famous in the group, but actually this kind of thinking dates far back in the days when the Greeks gave birth to logic and coherent thoughts.
How to Choose What to Focus on
I believe that if we look at nature, we can grasp at strategies that are very successful and use these in our own life. For example, take the idea of evolution. Evolution means the strongest survives. If the strongest survives, what then is the strongest point or quality in your life? Of the strongest things in your life, what is the most positively motivating?

I was first hooked to GTD [getting things done] by a very easy metaphor and question. The question David Allen asked was, “What do you do before you go on vacation?” The answer was, “You get everything ready so you can go on vacation.” What does ‘get everything ready’ mean? It’s about taking care of all unfinished business you might have. And because I will be going on vacation, it’s what I will do; I will take care of unfinished business.
