How Wikileaks affects my life
The recent fuzz about wikileaks and the power of the attacks have made something very clear to me: This is a war – not in a physical way, but in a non-physical way – a war of information. It’s not just about a website. It’s about the future development of our society. And there is something very precious to protect: Our freedom.
I can’t imagine democracy without the possibility to speak out.
Maybe Marx was right…
Are we dominated by a currupt elite that is trying to protect what they think they own (=us)?
I can’t just stand by and watch. And so can’t you!
Look around you and ask people on their opinion. If they have bought into the misconceptions of the 8traditional) media – get them to read the reports. And then ask again if you think those information should be withheld from the public.
Wikileaks is doing a great service to society – actually what they are doing should be a part of good governance in every democratic country. I know I see things black & white at this point. The time for in-depth analysis will come later. Let’s fight for survival first.
I’m in!
